#MMN Field Guide Kit Launch & strengthening partnership for safer migration

We are pleased to announce that the Migrant Media Network (#MMN)
project Ghana will hold a meeting for stakeholders and #MMN project
coordinators to have an exchange on their work experiences in migration
issues in Ghana. At teh same time we will launch our #MMN Field Guide Kit.

The workshop will be held in Accra, at the Erata Hotel, Okponglo, Legon,
from the 23rd to 24th of June 2021, starting at 09 am GMT. The first day is
meant as a stakeholder exchange meeting.

#MMN press conference

The #MMN project held a successful press conference at the National Youth Council – The Gambia Conference Hall with our core #MMN team highlighting the current and up coming #MMN activities on the ground.

Stammtisch held with some household heads of Yamoransa community  in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region. Opinion leaders in the community after the workshop gained deeper understanding of safe migration and planning the journey ahead.

In this Stammtisch (round table discussion) organised by Sabina the Central Region Local Coordinator. The  participants were taken through the #SMARTMIGRATION approach and the importance of Planning the Journey (setting goals before travelling).  A Participants Shared  the story of her sister, involving herself in unplanned journey.

After a successful outreach with  Teaching assistant, at School of Economics ,  University of Cape Coast. Sabina, was invited to have a stammtisch (Round table discussion) to engage the students on Migration issues and opportunities at Home.

How do you imagine your life there?
What other choices do you have?
