After a successful outreach with Teaching assistant, at School of Economics , University of Cape Coast. Sabina, was invited to have a stammtisch (Round table discussion) to engage the students on Migration issues and opportunities at Home.
The Stammtisch was themed “Migration Decisions”, James asked his participants the following questions to help them understand the role of #MMN in their community: Why do you want to migrate? How do you imagine your life there? What other choices do you have?
Discussing the dangers associated with irregular migration with youth groups, women, returnees, community elders.
Discuss on the impact of Human Smuggling with group discussion and Sharing stories. Talking about the negative impact of human smuggling. The target group were youth groups, women, returnees and community elders.
Some Community members of Aworowa Abaase Community received a training on truthful story telling. Talking about human trafficking and engaging the participants in awareness of human trafficking and the dangers to human life. Also a brief engagement in opportunities in Ghana was further discussed.
