Isatou K Jallow the Local Coordinator for the #MMN in the Upper River Region conducted a Stammisch on the 27th May, 2021 in Kaba Kama in the Fulladu District. Twenty people from the Suwancy Youth Group were attending. The topic discussed was #smartmigration and how to have better ideas before planning to migrate.
Gambia School workshop with twenty participants from Pakalinding Upper Basic School. Among others teachers and students joined the workshop on the 28th of May 2021. Topic was on How to PLAN BEFORE YOU PACK and make informed decisions before traveling. The event was held at the school campus in Pakalinding, Jarra West District Lower Region.
Some Community members of Aworowa Abaase Community received a training on truthful story telling. Talking about human trafficking and engaging the participants in awareness of human trafficking and the dangers to human life. Also a brief engagement in opportunities in Ghana was further discussed.
A visit to 'SELASE FASHION DESIGN'. (stammtisch) at Mafi-kumase in the Volta region of Ghana. The topic discussed was (human trafficking), questions were ask concerning if or not participants understand human trafficking and how it being operate. Madam Gifty Gakpe (Missionary & NGO) standing,she was explaining to participants about the concept.
The #MMN project held a successful press conference at the National Youth Council - The Gambia Conference Hall with our core #MMN team highlighting the current and up coming #MMN activities on the ground.
