This workshop was held with Elders at Baniko Ismaila, in Fuladu East District Basse. It was attended by 16 elders, including Imams, Alkalos, youth leaders and heads of compounds from 6 different surrounding villages. The discussion was focused on decision making in regards to migration, realities and expectations of migration to Europe also human trafficking and the story of my journey. We concluded with every participant sharing their own personal migration experiences and the experiences of their sons embarking on the journey to Libya. And what is the main root causes for choosing irregular migration. Recommendations and feedback was given.
